SHANTiDHAM FOUNDATION, a registered and non-profit making voluntary organization, carrying out different developmental activities for last 18 years was founded in 2004 and registered under society registration act in 2008 by a team of professionals and social activists to device and institutionalize methods which would effectively ameliorate the pathetic conditions of the marginalized and vulnerable communities in the State of Odisha. Since 2016, it is working in different Awareness Generation Campaigning, Placement assistance and promotion of hand made products of PwDs in PAN India. Now has started a new journey for the International Talent Hunt Programme for the PwDs for their Livelihoods.
It is registered under Indian Societies Registration Act, 1860 (Act-XXI) on 31st March 2008 bearing Registration No. 22742/332 of 2007-2008.
Since its inception, the emphasis was given on the holistic development of the community people and awarded IT Exemption for 12 AA and 80G Certification and also registered under NITI AAYOG and got CERTIFICATE OF REGISTRATION UNDER PWD ACT - 1995 from Govt. of Odisha.
It is a grass-roots level organization working in Odisha as well as Pan India for the various projects. During this year the organization tried to contribute its bit for the development of the rural and weaker groups.
To make real the idea of a society consisting of free and equal citizens who are able to come together and solve the problems that affect them in their particular contexts. The commitment is to work for a paradigm of development and governance that is democratic and polyarchic.
SHANTiDHAM FOUNDATION enables people to take responsibility for the situation of the deprived Indian poor people and so motivates them to confront the situation through collective action thereby giving the poor and themselves an opportunity to realize their full potential.
To be a role model for social voluntary organizations, non-govt. organizations and community - based organizations working actively in the rural/tribal areas of Odisha and make these organizations look up to it for leadership.
